Facilities
Living Quarters
Campers at Foxfield live in one of the camp’s four dormitory-style cabins. Each is named for a different breed of pony – Shetland, Connemara, Welsh, and Hackney. Campers are divided by age; the youngest girls stay in Shetland and the oldest stay in Hackney. Each cabin sleeps six campers and one counselor. All cabins are equipped with bunk beds and dressers, along with a full bath and air conditioning unit.
Horses
Foxfield maintains a large group of school horses for every level of rider. For campers wishing to bring their own horses, Foxfield offers a limited number of portable stalls.
Counselors
Foxfield’s counselors are all experienced horse people and love working with kids. A few of them have ridden at Foxfield for many years; some are previous campers, and all share a deep love of horses and riding.
Other Amenities
Other amenities include a swimming pool, a large dining hall, a People-Jumping area, and a well-supplied tack room. There are three arenas–two of them lighted–and two cross-country fields.
