Priceless came to Foxfield in 2003 and has been a gem ever since he arrived. This handsome thoroughbred has been a valuable asset to the school program, and was loved by Kimmi Hewson when she leased him.
Here’s what Kimmi had to say last year:
Priceless is the sweetest horse you will ever meet. He is happy to see you every day and loves to “smile” for his carrots. He is an adorable 16.2 hand bay with 3 white socks and a comical blaze.
I love to ride Priceless because he always tries and loves it when you are happy with him. If you are happy then so is he. He will jump anything you ask him to (but he still looks at the liver pool!!).
Priceless is great because he tries his hardest and always succeeds. He is always willing to please no matter how difficult or confusing the activity may be.”
His former owner, Willow Lindley, wrote this about Priceless (whom she called “Jake”):
...is a sweet horse and very nice to be around...a good best friend. He notices everything...I have found that talking him through most of these minor hurdles and assuring him that everything is ok is enough to make him feel comfortable....He really responds to patience and soothing reassurances.
Priceless can be found on any given Saturday in the Main Ring lessons!
