(a.k.a. Cinderella)
We have a special pony in the school who has taught countless kids to ride over the years. Donated to Foxfield by Stephanie Zimbalist, Cinder has proven to be worth more than her weight in gold. Because of her short stature, she has always been a “kid's horse,” but in her younger days she could gallop with the best of them! You will never meet a sweeter pony or one with more personality. Cinder really does think she's human and expects to be treated that way. She goes out of her way to be there whenever carrots are offered, and is the first one in line to go to the barn on lesson days whether or not she's signed up. She knows cubes are waiting!
She has worked in the beginner ring for a long time now, and seems to be happy with her job as caretaker for our youngest riders. You can always find her in the Walk-Trot division at the Foxfield Fun Shows where she excels at showmanship. Because of her size, she is also a popular choice for lead-line classes. Cinder would probably like to be jumping again, but those days are behind her. The good news is that the job she is doing now is an extremely important one. She gets to start very young riders on their road to fun and happiness in the horse world.
