Foxfield's rated events include the Spring and Summer Horse Shows, which span the two days of a weekend in April and July, the Fall Horse Show, which takes place on a Sunday in September, and the Foxfield Medal Finals and Jumping Derby, which take place during a single weekend in early October.

All year long, the region's top senior equitation riders compete to win a Foxfield Medal at rated horse shows throughout the west. Now, the year's winners gather at Foxfield for an extended test of horse and rider to determine an overall champion.
Jumping Derby
One of only a few events of its kind in America, the Foxfield Jumping Derby combines the precision and elegance of grand prix stadium jumping with the difficult challenges of cross-country. In an extended jumping course that occupies both a jumping arena and a cross-country field, the region's top jumpers must negotiate traditional obstacles as well as water jumps, ditches, walls and banks.
